Housing and Residential Education (OHARE)

OHARE has responsibility for all 34 of the residence halls on campus, staffing and programming within the residence halls, living learning communities, facilities management, and the Office of Conferences.

Alumni Lawn- Cole & Tolman

Cole and Tolman Halls are both located on central campus, and offer easy access to dining and classroom facilities. Cole houses 116 upperclass women mostly in single rooms, and Tolman houses 102 upperclass men in single and double rooms.

Branscomb Quadrangle

Branscomb Quadrangle is an upperclass housing facility located near central campus. It is made up of four connecting residence halls: Lupton, Scales, Stapleton, and Vaughn.

Carmichael Towers

Carmichael Towers is a fourteen-floor, air-conditioned residence hall complex that opened in 1966 and 1970. Towers East and West are comprised of four separate high-rise buildings. Upperclass residents live on floors 3-14.

College Halls (Warren & Moore)

Warren College and Moore College are the latest of Vanderbilt's residential options and the first to expand the residential college model to central campus.

Crawford House

Located on the Martha Rivers Ingram Commons, Crawford House provides modern features in a classic building housing 150 first-year students in traditional double rooms. Students live on floors 2–6 of this six story building.

East House

Located on The Martha Rivers Ingram Commons, East House provides modern features in a classic structure. Approximately 100 students live in East House.

Gillette House

Located on The Martha Rivers Ingram Commons, Gillette House is residence for 220 first-year men and women living separately on floors 2–6.

Hank Ingram House

Hank Ingram House is located next to the Dean’s Residence on The Martha Rivers Ingram Commons. “Hank House” provides modern features in a classic building housing approximately 290 first-year students in traditional double rooms.
