Sarratt Art Studios
About
The Sarratt Art Studios offers the Vanderbilt community the opportunity to take non-credit art classes to learn a new form of art or to continue an interest in art without the pressures associated with academic courses. The Sarratt Art Studios create a social environment that is friendly and supportive, and is comprised of students, Vanderbilt faculty, staff and Nashville community members. The studio facilities are open daily and on weekends to students enrolled in our classes so they may have a place to practice their skills apart from their academic schedules, and pursue their interest in the arts. The Art Studios provide information regarding upcoming art events within the greater Nashville community. This year's Art Studio Committee has actively been working to develop new relationships with fellow student organizations, academic departments, and other programs throughout the campus community. We have also donated our time and space by offering free art activities for a multitude of campus wide events. We are a space for Vanderbilt students (both in our classes and outside of them) to explore their creative interests and use art to relax in an often stressful academic environment.
