The Original Cast, one of Vanderbilt's oldest performing arts organizations, produces two original shows each year by pulling songs from a wide variety of musicals, making it the only musical theatre revue troupe on campus. Since 1975, this entirely-student run group has maintained distinctly smaller cast sizes in contrast to other organizations in order to ensure that all performers have a featured role in each show and to guarantee close-knit casts.

The Original Cast holds auditions each semester for those interested in joining. Additionally, the group hosts social events throughout the school year for past/current performers and alumni. If you want to sing, dance, and act with some of Vanderbilt’s most talented performers, you could find a new home in The Original Cast!
