Criminal Law Association at Vanderbilt Law School
About
The Criminal Law Association (CLA) is dedicated to the principles of criminal justice. Its purpose is to afford law students knowledge and insight into law enforcement, corrections, prosecution, and defense while providing opportunities for students interested in the criminal justice system.
Our hope is to allow Vanderbilt Law students the opportunity to become involved with an organization that unites students with a common interest consistent with the Law School's collegiate atmosphere. CLA seeks to explore the criminal justice system on a state, federal, and international level.
Along with sponsoring speakers, debates, and forums, CLA affords students opportunities to become involved in the community. Whether through the RISE (Riverbend Insider Support and Education) program, student job panels, or community based programs in conjecture with other clubs, CLA seeks to allow Law Students to receive a meaningful experience.
