About
The Vanderbilt Medical School Association (VMSA) consists of every medical student enrolled in the School of Medicine. The VMSA is governed by the Council of Class Officers (CCO).
The CCO is a group comprised of class officers from all four years of medical school. These positions include: President (1), Vice President (1), Secretary/Treasurer (1), and Class Chairs (3). As the student government of the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, the CCO strives to improve medical student life, address student and faculty concerns, and strengthen the medical school community. We meet on a monthly basis with all School of Medicine Deans to discuss pertinent issues concerning our school, from both the administrative and student perspectives.
