Chemoembolization for hepatocellular carcinoma has quickly become one of the most widely performed procedures by interventional radiologists. It is one of the cornerstones of multidisciplinary oncologic care for these patients. Which patients should get it? How is it done? What are the results in these patients?

Join us to discuss these and other questions in a conversation moderated by Dr. Banovac, chief at IR at VUH.

The following articles will be discussed:

Lammer et al. "Prospective Randomized Study of Doxorubicin-Eluting-Bead Embolization in the Treatment of Hepatocellular Carcinoma: Results of the PRECISION V Study"

Lewandowski et al. "Chemoembolization for Hepatocellular Carcinoma: Comprehensive Imaging and Survival Analysis in a 172-Patient Cohort"
