2018 MLK Weekend of Service

Join students, staff, and faculty from universities across Nashville for the 2018 MLK Joint Day of Service on Saturday, Jan. 13.

The kick-off event will begin at the historic Fisk University, site of one of Dr. King's speeches in Nashville. We will share a meal together, have a brief program, and then depart to a variety of service sites (transportation provided). Afterwards, we'll gather again at Fisk for a time of reflection and celebration.

We will be serving at Second Harvest Food Bank, Feed the Children, Trevecca Urban Farm, at a Potato Drop for the Society of St. Andrew as well as other food security, veterans services related and other service locations. Sign-up for specific projects will occur the day of the event, and will be on a "first-come-first-serve" basis.

Participants should also register using the MLK Joint Day of Service registration form (where you can also request your T-shirt size!).

Make it a day on, not a day off.
